I do like alot of the other guys do (got the idea from Yankee Doodler at one of our outings). I put a 5 gallon bucket in the garage in a cool shaded location. When I come back from fishing, I put in fresh water, and pour in the minnows I have left. I take my aerator and put it in the bucket. Like Yankee Doodler, I have a heavy washer on the end of my tube to make sure it stays on the bottom. I have kept them alive in the garage for 5 or so days. I have a 10 gallon fish tank I was going to use, but the bucket works so well I didn't even bother.

How was the fishing? did you find a new secret fishing spot?

Before I leave town..this time of year, with the water still cold as.. you may not need to fish early. Much of time wait until the water warms a little, and that can improve the bite. 5

I ended up fishing from about 10:30 til 1. No bites, lost a few roadrunners, but it was nice to get out and cast for the first time in months. There was a lot of current and wind.
