Well, I was in the same boat for awhile. I pretty much have storage for everything now. Certain things stay in the boat all the time like terminal tackle. Hooks, sinkers,bobbers, swivels all are in a tackle bag.

For soft plastics I have two bags. One will hold two rows of minnow or shad bags or worms as the zip lock style baggies are all the same size. As for my twisters, tubes, and charlie brewers, those are the same baggies and I have a bag those go in.

For my walleye jigs, I buy boxes from Meijer in the auto department. They are about 25 bucks each and have removable boxes.

I know some buy different boxes from harbor freight.
