I guess my wife wanted me to have B&Ms. She bought me a couple today for my birthday.

Lots of the folks down south like these, and I did actually get to hold a 14 footer. Think they may be in my future:

Got my new crappie calenders the other day. They look great.
Yeah there's some good pics of the kids in there too. I like those the best.

This AM Started at 50 degrees and misty, after sunrise Yes it did show for a while, temp 54. went on a little scouting trip, clouds rolled in rain started headed to car and came face to face with a Monster Buck that I knew hadda be there but had never seen. Not sure who jumped first, but he won and was gone in a heartbeat. Adrennalin rush got almost to the car and I was withing sight of it and started shiverring. Hate being cold and wet. Started car and temp gage show outside temp 41 degrees. Did not warm up on the trip home. Took off the wet dud and realized house is cold as well. Checked tstat, 59 degree and still set for AC. Remedied tha situation but am still cold.
So how's your day going?
I wish I could be lazy. Or maybe my idea of lazy is someone's idea of busy.... you must teach me your ways master!
Im in the midst of a life change. Ive been purging my life of that which use to consume all my thoughts, time, and money.
With that change comes some free time. Fishing has taken some of the time, ive been getting back into hunting a bit, my family gets a bit more time, but ive got some left over to just kick back and watch the grass grow.
Here fishy, fishy, fishy...
Anyone have any insight on how Houghton Lake or Long Lake are doing fishing wise? Walleye, pike, or crappie would be nice.
I have to make a trip to Harrison Saturday and only need to be there all of 5minutes.
Figure If I'm going that far I might as well drag the boat and make a day of it.
