Looks like everything fell into place. Great group of people, beautiful weather, nice campground, and some huge crappies! Congrats on a great job to those of you who put it all together...

I would like to thank all of the first timers, it's always great to have new faces around the camp fire. My son(Kj), my niece(Kalea), and my cousin(Adrian) all expressed their total enjoyment and welcoming from everybody. We arrived at the campground midday Friday , got the campsite setup, I had help from my two little helpers. I think they were rushing me to get done ASAP so they could go fishing but the sun was so hot ,I told them to wait till it cooled off a bit, that wasn't the answer they wanted to hear. Lol. We finally got on the water , and found the crappie holding tight to submerged wood and tree tops. The Saturday outing started out the same as Friday nite, tree tops and any kind of wood that was 15-20ft deep , the catch rate slowed as the boat traffic picked up. One of the best parts of the weekend was the food ,as usual.

Oh yea almost forgot, there was a unanimous vote while I wasn't present, seems as if I will be in charge of organizing the fall slabfest. I accept Lol. My thoughts for making the fall event a success , would be to start early on the planning. So with that being said, any ideas, suggestions please shot me a PM.
Once again thanks to all that supported spring slabfest and RICH for going a great job on the planning
