i have used jointed shad raps down there with good results, and if you have them do not forget to try hot pink or bubblegum, have had good luck before with them
we ran 1.6 to 2.0 mph, there are lots of guys down south that do it.

Thanks John. The water is down quite far for winter, it might be a little easier to snag up now. We love to troll, probably do that as much as anything. That & minnows/slip bobbers. Hope we get some nice ones like you & YD got.
