    Default ky lake vac

just got back from an awesome week at ky lake with my GF Wanda Erb, and good friends Steve and Renee Kellogg.
weather was nice for most of the week, caught over 150 crappie (and several catfish and monster drum)
and enjoyed the view from the cabin.
caught the crappie trolling crankbaits in 13-18 ft water all in all had a GREAT time.

hahahah yep, lady friend has been keeping me busy with "projects" barely had any time to fish this year!!!
she is not much on cool weather, so if spring fest is not on a WARM weekend, doubt you will see her.
only reason I have missed last two slabfests, is I seem to have my vacations booked at the same time.... : (
was in Canada for the fall outing, and was in KY again this spring

Glad you have a "partner" to fish with. Were happy for you and glad your doing good. Keep in touch. We missed the fall get together trying to organize this trip to Sardis. Hey, there's an idea!! Bring your friend down to Sardis and fish with us, we got room for you. We'll be at John Kyle S.P. lot 067, plan to be there till spring sometime. C'mon down...

Good to hear from you John. Ky lake can be a great place to find slabs. What part were you fishing...north or south?

Larry you need to learn how to troll bandit crankbaits, sardis is very good for them, so is enid
I could loan you a couple line counter reels and some of my spare rods if you wanted to try them, could even come up with a bandit or two if i look hard enough

I have a couple line counter reels and rods. Used them a lot on Sag Bay for Walleye. I do have a few Bandits, Hot'NTots, and a bunch of Lindy Crankbaits, along with all the Shad Raps etc. I'm taking all that with us. Thanks for the tip.

Yup. Sardis is nice a clean for the most part.
