Default Got Out with my son

Between moving and some family health issues, My son and I got fish this past Sat. up on Hardy Pond. Using live bait and gulp minnows we got our limits of crappie and a few bass that went back and one nice keeper perch. Beautiful day and quality time with the son and his boat. Just a few pics (I hope). The fillets are from a 14 incher.

Nice mess of fish Darwin! Hardy can be a super place for slabs. Did you find them just off the break lines where I usually find them or were they deeper this time.

YD, They were just off the weed break, but the bait had to be moving (for us any way). Also pike love to steal road runners.

Awesome body of water. A couple weeks prior to that my son got a couple walleyes mixed in.

Yeah them pesky pike! Carol and I went out on Bruce's Bayou off the Grand a week or two ago, and I was pushing a single roadrunner w/plastic body bait that I suspect a pike took. Whatever it was nailed it and buried itself in the weeds and I couldn't extract it.
