    Lake Missaukee: Ice anglers were doing well for panfish.

    Fished there yesterday from dawn till noon very slow and small endied with 11 crappie n blugills off of green road plenty of ice to drive on about 20"

    The one is a DNR report and the other is some guy who fished there. I have not fished Missaukee.

    Green Road is up the lake a ways. Great way to get to a different spot on the lake without driving across the ice. There is a great access point to the Ice too. This has traditionally been the spot for the "perching" grounds although there is a little known hole just out from the access point that gives up some good crappies.

    So is this a long haul on a quad

    I hope you guys now were to fish this lake, i think i looked at a map of this lake once and have no clue were to go, I plan on bringing some tip ups and sit back and have fun

    Not really a long haul. Most guys put in there because it is quicker to get to some areas. Perch town is out there.

    I'll have some tip ups too. The pike used to be plentifull. In fact I believe there is a no size limit. Friend of mine owned a bait shop in town (not sure it is still there). Saw him last winter and he gave me all his crappie and walleye hotspots. Most are close to town. Crappie area is out my sisters back door.

    I'll have my kawasaki mule with me. I like to ride in comfort!
