Went out today during this snow storm. The fish were going crazy. I couldn't keep count of how many I caught and released. There were a lot of small ones, but I did bring home a few in the 7-9 1/2" range. This was the biggest. I got it on my Black Betty Combo and a Lindy Toad in Pink & Chart.

Life has many choices, eternity has two...choose wisely.
Unapplied biblical truth is like unapplied paint...how many gallons do you have sittin' around? U.D.
Larry,
How do you like that reel. They seem to be getting alot of press this year. I thought of picking one up but I have never had a problem with small spinning reels
Good job Larry.

Well, Rich, it's just fun. Supposed to keep your bait from spinning and it does that. I had a Genz Ice Spooler, but the reel fell apart. Cabela's give me an exchange so I got the BB combo. It was $20 more, but the rod is much better and the reel. I wanted the Eagle Claw, but since there's a shortage of them they are $150-$175 on eBay, I didn't quite want it that bad. lol
