    Default First Outing.


    Got out fishing today. Was surprised at how much ice there was, 6-7". I seen quad and snowmobile tracks, so I just followed them on my quad. Got quite a few Bluegills, too small and 1 nice Bass. Tried out the new camera. Can't believe how good you can see the fish. Only thing is, the fish all look bigger than they are, still fun to watch them bite.

    Way to go Larry, sure is nice being on the ice again isn't it ?

    I found a lake that had a good 2 1/2 " on it and you had to walk about 200 yards to were there was a couple guys fishing, i could here these guys laugh at me because i took so long to get out there, it wouldn't of been so bad if the ice wouldn't of crack every step.

    Ended up catching some nice gills in 15 fow,

    Good going Jim. I don't care for that cracking stuff. Sandy & I did that last year, scared her pretty bad when it cracked right through the shack.

    Any of you guys get out today? I had things to do so couldn't make it out. Tomorrow were going.

    You catching any fish Larry or watching them with you new toy?

    Was able to get Eric out yesterday for a few, it was slow till the last hour

    I was fishing and a guy next to me got to close to a bad spot and few through, pulled him self out and continued fishing till dark

    going to check out a few more lakes today
