You guys better be careful on that ice if it's that thin. I've been twice and other than a nice Bass, a few small Gill's has been it. Seems the fishing is pretty spotty all over right now. May try to go today 1/1/13 I have to admit, that camera's fun to mess with..

Gave up on that lake found another one we fished today, it probably had 2" out were we fished in 30 fow, getting to this spot was the challenge since the ice was thinner.

Had a fun time today

I was out today also but on 3 - 4" of ice. Fishing wasn't that good but it sure was nice to get out and work out all the bugs

I havent been back out yet, It has been hard to find people to fish with the way the ice is.

Very good point. It is not real smart to fish the ice alone, especially not early in the season when the ice is thin.

We have pretty good ice all over this area. Even deep in the Twin Cities Metro (heat island and all that) we were on solid 8-10" of hard clear blue yesterday.
