You have a barn to keep your boat in? I'm jealous. I just tarp mine down real good and leave them set on my gravel lot with the brush hogs. One time I put a boat in a barn and the mice were all over it in the spring. If I leave them out I do not have that proble. I just pull the batteries, tarp them with two layers of heavy taprs and leave them sit. Works great and NO critters. Perch are hitting in Brest Bay (Erie) but no size yet. They say that the Detroit river is doing good if you want to put up with Homeland Security searching you.

I tried the shrink wrap a couple years ago, for us, it's the only way to go. Costs around $100 and works really good. After ice hits the lakes we have it done. Park it out back on a couple boards for the tires, and it's good till Spring..
