Thread: Lure Making

Those sequin eyes are ridiculous. They give off a sparkle of light no matter which way they are turned. The cupped shape must have something to do with the way it reflects. The daub of UV resin then gives them a nice effect.

I tried cleaning the surface of the UV resin using rubbing alcohol as mentioned earlier, and it seems to make a difference. My eyes seem to think so. I’ll be doing more of that I am sure.

I do kind of miss the realistic eyes, but these have been fun.
