I just bought a used 22 ft fishing toon. It came with a 24 volt motor guide ft control that I will be selling. I am replacing it with a 36 volt minn Kota ultera. I was going to use 6 gauge wire but I cannot find any plugs that will accept the 6 gauge wire. Those of you that run 36 volt trolling motors what size wire and what type plugs were used. Is 8 gauge heavy enough for the 36 volts thanks
