    Default Shrink wrap?

Changing the lights on my trailer, going to LED....Is a butt splice sufficient,or would you recommend shrink wrap on top of splice, being that it'll be submersed?

Deox the wires prior to crimp and shrink wrap and waterproof coating. Once and done!

Use the heat shrink connector. WalMart or auto parts stores have then. I also use a 4 inch piece of shrink tubing over the whole thing. Makes a pretty water proof connection.
