Default power trim on 1992 Tracker

    Greetings all,
I have a 92 Tracker with a 60 hp Johnson (all original). The power trim up/down both work on the side of the motor but the UP button on the throttle has stopped working. The DOWN on the throttle works and the front of the boat trim button has stopped working. I assume this is an electrical connection problem. Any suggestions? Is there separate wiring running from the throttle to the battery to control this or does this run of the panel? It usually works when the key is off so I assume there has to be a separate wiring set up.
    Thanks

Mercury motor wiring harnesses have a plug to connect the throttle tilt and trim wiring to the main motor harness. You would probably have to take the side panel the shift and throttle is mounted on off to find the connection. The front tilt and trim would be part of the boat manufacturers wiring harness.
