Thread: spit fire props

I have a 2006 e-tec, i am wondering if any one knows if i can use a mercury spitfire prop with that motor?

Merc props or at least the newer style with the plastic hub kit will fit any motor that takes the same size barrel prop or diamater prop , like 14 x what ever pitch, all you have do do is have a Merc dealer get you the hub kit to fit the e-tec motor and install it in the prop. Many guy's who where running the big Yamaha 200's when they came out with this style went to the Merc props for more speed.
