Have a 1980 80 hp mercury. Ran great that morning but when I left to go to another spot, it would not fire a lick. Pulled out, checked plugs, no fire. Only thing I can see between the starter and the plugs is the power pack. Do they go out without any signs of them doing so or am I looking in the wrong direction?
