    Default Mecury problems


    I have a 94 mecury 60hp 2 stroke 3 cyl. It starts good and idles good. But when I open it up it dies, it starts right back up. It will run 2/3 throttle all day long but a full it dies. Its got good gas, i have 2 cyl stable in the tank. Any help, Im about to pull my hair out.

    fishing from the couch in front of the tv doesnt count

    I'm guessing fuel pump. I have the same motor, but 50hp (same block, diff carbs). Mine did that, and fuel pump diaphram was bad.

    I had a 150 Mariner that had the same problem and i had a stator bad just got it fixed yesterday, one of the coils on the stator was fried.

    Same with my 25. I replaced the trigger as well while he was in there.
