    Taking the new perch rig on it's maiden voyage tomorrow. Loaded down with some fine crappie tackle....nice weather, anyone else trying them?

    Got skunked! Fished from 10 to 3 during the high tide. Tried a little of everything and no bites, talked to several others fishing and they were skunked as well. Surface water temp was 39deg.

    Tried deep and slow, shallow, tight to cover, changed artificials but nothing.....

    Better than work thought!
