Just discovered this site a few days ago. I'm new to crappie fishing. I live in Laurel MD and usually fish the Chesapeake Bay for Rockfish. HOwever, I went crappie fishing last year in the Potomac and I think I got hooked of crappie. So, here I am trying to learn what I need to know to become a fresh water angler.

Thanks for the info. I went out two days ago and got a 10 fish limit of yellow perch in Harve de grace Maryland. I’ll be glad to post pictures as the season gets under way.
