Stopped by a eastern shore tidal spot Friday on my way back from work Thurs. No crappie found but caught a small largemouth and maybe 30 white perch. All were small up to 9 inches and released. Most were males with most dripping milt upon coming out of the water.
Saturday, I stopped at a private pond around noontime between errands. I caught one smallish crappie about 10 inches and 2 bluegill about 8 inches each. It was really slow and the green algae is coming on quickly. water temp was 52F.
