Default Starting my week off right

Friday was my last day before my week long "Fishing" vacation.

Went out Saturday evening after reffing soccer and checked an old spot. Got a single 20" rock that was pretty thin.

On Sunday decided to hit my regular rock spot before watching the Raven's try and blow a 17pt lead.
We got our 4 keepers, nice puggy Fall fish fattening up for winter, and off the water by 11

Went back out today to hit some stripes quick then do some more crappie recon.
Got 3 keeps, a bit smaller then Sunday, by 7:30am.

Partner had to be off the water early so I dropped him at the ramp and then went into my piers (Same ones from my other pic Mike) and started hammering them.

1st fish on was over 13"

    Next was over 12"

Then I had a monster come unbuttoned - pretty sure I missed my 1st attempt this year at a citation, which is 15"

Then the last "pic worthy" was another right on the 12" mark

Caught about 35-40 all together with 8 or 9 over my keeper size of 10". Threw all the crappie back to grow a bit. I figured why be greedy since I'm on the stripers. I'll save the crappie till after Dec 15th when the striper season closes.

Tomorrow heading back to Sunday's spot then I think back to J-Towne on Wednesday.

Man it's nice to be off work, preparing for retirement
