hello zinger i just so happen to live about 15 min from deep creek lake . just a couple points to ponder there is only 1 boat launch for the lake and that is in the state park 10 dollors a day. have got fish from both ends of the lake and also the middle so it's kinda any area you wanna run to. i haven't got into any crappie on the lake but i know that they are there seems everytime i go we end up looking for eyes and such but i catch what ever bites i'm not picky.lol. as for places to stay there are a few hotels around but can't say as far as price as i just go to the launch and get busy i don't do much dealing around the lake other than the fishing and arrowhead market has some good food and they are asseciable from the lake. if there would be abything that you would like for me to check on for you i can hopefully point you in the right direction like i said hopefully lol.
