    Default on the mend :/

Well 2013 has starter fairly bitter sweet for me. On the day of my sister's funeral my son LJ (little joshua) was born. Then this past week I decided to get my knee fixed finally. Had my torn meniscus and a grade 3 mcl tear repaired. While its awesome that I will be off work for the next 6 weeks I obviously wont get to fish for the majority of that time because I cant put weight on the knee.

I was able to get out and attempt some smallmouth fishing in the knoxville falls area of the potomac the day before ny surgery. The weather was perfect and in the 50's. Unfortunately though no fish the entire 3 hrs I was out.

Keep posting stories and pics guys...gotta find a way to pass the time til I can get mobile and back on the water.

    -Josh

Get well soon. The timing of the surgery was about as best you could do for timinng, fishin' wise. You'll be read for the March onset.

tear-em-up, I appreciate the kind words. Already pretty mobile with this handy dandy leg brace on, but definitely cant take the yak out until the brace is off. Im looking forward to coming down yalls way one of these days soon to check out some of the waters you guys fish. I have really dug reading about you guy's fishing success and could really use a good trip like that right about now.

Yeah man, that first wind chill from the north west came through night before last. Im in Brunswick Crossing where its always windy but that stuff is rediculous cold. I saw the most recent pic of your boy with his deer. Thats good stuff right there.
