The Potomac has both yellow perch and crappie. I have notfish there for years, just too far of a ride. I use plastics for both species. You can't go wrong with white and chanteuse. Most people won't tell you theirexact spots for fear of spot burning. The internet has done a lot of damage tosome of my hunting and fishing spots. I got started by looking a contour mapsand liking holding areas. This is a lot of trial and error. But once you getout you will see where most boats are going. Guys you meet on the water will probablyhelp you out. Once you find a good spot start looking for similar areas tocheck out. You will probably find fish there too. Putting the pieces togetheris just as much fun as catching. Just get out and give it a go you will get onsome fish on a regular basis once you figure them out. Even the best guys getskunked once in a while. Be careful with this cold weather and be prepared for whateverproblems that may arise. I know this doesn’t help much but getting out is agood start. Good Luck and post some pics.
