Been a long time since I fished in Maryland, but I thought I would send along a couple of my favorites. From about October to December (especially December) we would take a trip to Salisbury and fish under the RTE 50 bridges on the Wicomico, fish right up against the highway supports. If you are in a boat, side troll real slow along the supports with grubs. Stay in a cheap hotel and go to English's on 13 for Maryland Fried Chicken. Makes a great trip. Big Pool at Ft. Frederick State Park between Hagerstown and Hancock used to be good for trolling in April and May, right down the channels in the lake. The Upper Choptank below Greensboro (or was that Goldsboro? I'm gettin too old) was good for fishing down trees that hang out into the channel in winter. Long Poles with bobber rigs and minnows on shad darts do the trick there. Rocky Gorge under the rte 29 bridge was always good, but they were usually small.
Hope that is some help. Good Luck. I moved my life to the Chickahominy in Virginia 20 years ago, so this info might be too old, then again...
