Today could possibly and most likely will be the last day of 2011 for fishing. This day arrives a little later than most years as the fall weather has been kind. As I look back, I have many epic trips to replay in my minds eye. So I will start in the beginning. March was great for crappie.

Catfish got there feed bucket on quick and then got into the spawn a full month early making some tough trips in late May.

LGmouth went ballistic in June thru August on the sub-surface frog bite.

The new game fish named Potomac Pike accounted for 18 of my catch this year. First ever caught on a fly and biggest at 31 inches also graced my boat.

Bowfin did a good job this year and provided some fantastic fishing.

Did a couple of shark trips and got a bunch of reds instead.

Even managed a quick trip out of OC for tuna.

Got into some nice speckled trout this year as well.

Then a week in Nags Head with surf and sand each morning.

Catfish are still biting right now as I cover my boat.

The new year is packed with fishing shows and flea markets so I will keep busy.
A nice sunrise to enjoy.

2012 will see great/epic trips I am sure.
