Thread: Here some odd ones?

I live in a private communitie and take care of several ponds we have as far as treat them for algae and weed problems and such. Many years ago we stocked one of our ponds with some israli black carp and koi to help with the weed and algae problems. Originally we put in 50 fingerlings of each.
Over the years ive watched the koi gro and dont know how many we have but I saw 5 koi together last year including this all white one with blue eyes, the others are different shades of orange.
I have hooked the koi once or twice but never succesfully landed one, their easy 20 lbs and good fighters too! I did catch the black carp a couple of times but they were only about 1/2 size of the one this young man caught.
I talked to this young man several times and helped him land a nice bass one time and last week he sent me these pictures of these monstors he caught while still fishing dough balls. There are plenty of crappie in these ponds as well, we've stocked many of them over the last few years but kind of neat to see somthing different too!
