I fish for anything that swims. Looking to catch a few trout this weekend. Of course I will work some crappie time this weekend too.

I see golden trout when I'm turkey hunting. We would try to fish for them after lunch. I can't get them to bite anything.

i used a cornpumpkin seed panthermartin for the golden trout... i was looking at an osprey staring down at the fish and decided to cast it to that direction and after 6 cast BOOOM i saw the golden trout fly off the water... in my mind i was thinking por osprey he must hate me right now! BTW i just got back from Cancun and fishing over there was great!

That's a big change in fishing. What did you catch in Cancun? I make my own spinners for trout. They have the same type of blade as a Panther Martin I think it puts out more vibration and doesn't take much to make them spin. I paint the bodies’ half chartreuse half orange.

i used to always fish with rooster tails but then after becomeing a die hard trout stream fisherman at the ripe ole age of 12 i switched to joe flys as the colorado blade spins with just a small tug and a slight current compared to the rooster tails .
here in western maryland it's the march brown and royol coachman that makes the trouts heads spin for spinner action other than that it's mike's shrimp eggs and corn ( whole kernnel )
i did try creamed once by mistake grabbed the wrong can as i went out the door in a hurry . ( hard to find a big kernel in there lol)
ah mike i remember when i used to think i had to fish the creek dry before i went home . but now i'm happy with a couple and the fun of being out there with a couple buddies and maybe a beer or two . just for laughs .

    tight lines fellas,

    Scott,
A lot of my buddies use Joes flys. You know me I have to make my own lures. LOL on the creamed corn. I bet if you had anyone there they didn't forget that one. I screwed up yesterday. Drove to a spot and got ready to launch the boat when I realized I forgot the key to the boat. I was by myself on that one. That’s just as bad as a buddy going turkey hunting. He loaded his stuff into my vehicle at a park n ride. Well he forgot his gun; at least you had some form of bait. Getting out of the house and getting some exercise is good for me. I usually hook a lot of fish but they never make it all the way in. I just go back out and try to catch them next time.

The other day I loaded my canoe on my truck to go fish an electric only reservoir. Got there and got the whole canoe setup and ready to go. Went to hook up the trolling motor and the pin had slipped out and was back at home in my basement.

    I love bloopers
