Default New to the forum. Question on Rocky Gorge

Hey guys I just joined the forum.

Was wondering if anyone has experience crappie fishing in rocky gorge. I have just started fishing the reservoir because it is close to my house and I just got a canoe rigged with a trolling motor that I can put in there.

I have gone out a few times in the past weeks but have blanked and now that it is warming up I am itching to get on some fish. I am going tomorrow so any advice will be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,

    Mark

Welcome to the MD board Mark.
A good spot is the HWY 29 bridge pilings and the ditches right in front of the bridge.

Well no luck with the crappie today at the gorge. The water is still pretty muddy. Did manage a nice 5lb bass on a ratl trap.

The gorge seems like it can be tricky. There is a lot of structure on the shore but then it gets very deep very fast
