Thanks for the report tear. I had a good day of fishing Sat too, not a tear um up day but a steady pic every half hour or so. Kept two YP had em baked tonight for dinner, yummy. Decided to bake the fillets with butter, parmesan cheese, Italian bread crumbs and slivered almonds, done in 15 minutes. I too think this weeks fishing should be good if the rain doesn't muddy and raise the water too much. Have a good week. Steve

I was there friday night too and helped catch 2 or 3 of the 14, I was on my way back from a pond in western delmarva I didnt fish before and caught 2 in six hours, caught more in 15 minutes in the local spot?? Well I was learning how to fish the pond and have lots of experience at the old local spot, wish we had 7 local shore spots so I could hit one every night, be cheaper than hauling the boat 25 miles each way and then freezing my butt off for 6 hours in the boat. Ok sorry, I'm done bitchin.
Sunday was fun even though the fish didnt cooperate, we took a new freind Rob with us and know that the white perch will be there heavy soon so we can get even, they might be there now just waiting for a degree or two to make em real hungry?
So there ya go Tear, I'll start backing you up better on here, I think he was not happy with me for not responding to more of his posts, guess I was a bad wingman, but i'll change and make things as intresting as possible

On a different note anybody out there been fishing Noxontown at all, or even have any tips for us southern boys if we get up there? I'd really like to catch a white crappie this year, never seen a live one, might be neat to get one for the aquarium too? Appreciate any come backs! Regards from the Duck.

Blacks are nicer fish. They have thicker shoulders, provide more pullage, and fill the cooler faster.
    Fishing since '50!

I'll agree with that Corker , I think G-duck just wants to catch one cause he never has . That lake he's talking about is up on the northern end of delmarva its probably the closest place to us to catch whites. I caught em years ago on the western shore.

My suggestion to Gduck would be to call the DE Fish and Game with your question. They should know from sampling where the White Crappie populations are. Good luck and post here if you are successful in your goal. Tight lines, Steve S.
