PanManVa ran some tests on various lines.

His tests were scientific and I believe the results based on his tests. I think suffix line came out on top. I bought some 6# hi-vis yellow based on his test results as I believe his results to be unbiased and not promotional. Go to The Va board and pull up his post on line testing. Or, ask him for the test results.

Sufix makes some VERY good line. I've caught everything from 4 foot sharks to 4 inch bream on it. I've caught the bottom several times with the 20 pound mono and I could not break it. We'd cut the drag to full and hold the spool and pull and pull. You'll either get it loose or wind up cutting it. It won't break.
If I buy some more line I may try a different brand, just because I like testing it out, but I've been a Sufix guy for years now.
