    Default When the crappie are slow..


    When the crappie are being ornery and hard to locate on the river, I turn to fishing for saugers and walleyes. always a good time having a multispecies trip or one that turns into that! these was taken on pool 17 of the Mississippi river end of December. she's locked up...for now. had the feeling of walking on the tailwaters this weekend in search of some crappie through the ice..

    here on 17 its open to the bridge but after that its locked up. ramps are close up.,
