Anybody have any good advice on trying to retrieve a spud bar? I just bought a vexilar and wanted to make sure it worked. Long story short I spudded an area and seemed good but couldn't walk on it without out it starting to break so I tried an area closer and there goes my spud!!! It's only 2 weeks old lol. Anyway, not sure if there is a cheap magnet or another way to retrieve it without spending a lot of money since there like $70 or go buy another one and chalk it up as lesson learned. I guess my ice season is officially over especially with warmer temps coming. I guess I should also ask if there's a good way to check my vexilar now that the ice isn't safe?
