Help retrieving rod

I would suggest snagging treble, but dont want you to get into trouble if the DNR shows up and you are dragging around a snagging hook.

Ive used a “sonar” lure before with success. A blade bait, metal minnow. 1/2 or 3/4 size and drag around along bottom.
