I like the shape of the Thill one shaped like a pear on a stick, but dis-like the weight on the bottom. So A few years ago I went to a local winery during a wine tasting, and asked to buy the used corks. They gave me a Walmart plastic bag full. I turn them on my drill press and use sand paper to shape. for the slip tube I use a plastic tube 5/32" from HobbyLobby, 4 pieces a foot long for $3.49. still have tubes and a few corks. May have to go visit the winery again. I like them for casting weight, and they can be counter weighted so if a crappie bights in an upward movement they lay over...
