You guys might already have been using these, but I just stumbled on them a few months back and think they're about the best thing ever!

I can't remember which brand I bought, but there are a lot of them. It's called a "Fat Skimmer Spoon".

I use it to scoop out all the junk on the bottom of the cooking oil after every 2-3 batches of fish/fries.
The mesh is so small it catches even the tiny little grains of corn meal floating around in the oil.


No more dirty looking fish towards the end of the cooking!!

Anyways, I cooked a big mess yesterday and everybody was asking about it so wanted to share with you guys in case anybody else out there might benefit.
