Prayers for Mr. Weaver's family . Cray was a friend to all that knew him and was a "rock " for Crappie.Com during the golden years . Cray was an open book of knowledge about many topics . Always had a smile and a giving heart . Will miss you buddy .
Even Jesus had a fish story ! Actually five .

Just seeing this. Charlie was a great man. Used to really enjoy camps when he was there. Always very generous. Prayers go out to the family. May his memory be eternal, and may God bless.

Ive been very busy and haven’t been on this site for quite some time and then as soon as i do i learn of Cray’s passing. Just thought I would share my experiences of him.
I use to talk with him regularly about working on OMC boat motors, I would call with questions, he would say, hang on a minute and let me get a cup of coffee, then he would say, whatcha got going on. He was the most helpful feller I have ever talked with on those older motors, I’m still running the same motor he helped me get going about 10 years ago. My family decided to take a trip down to Mississippi about 7 years ago, Ole Cray met us at the Ramp at Sardis lake and fished the entire day with us, we had such a great day with him. He actually just sat up front between my wife and myself and said I’ll run the troll motor and you all catch the fish, we spider rigged all day. He was a guy that was just like part of the family from the first time I talked to him. Just very sad news to me. May He ever rest in peace.
