Sounds enjoyable except for the slimers. Thanks for sharing

Had a nice day, got a little breezy twenty plus and few whitecaps, but it helps stay cool. Were putting a decent whipping on the crappie, but then the blue cat bite went crazy and pretty much whipped us. Big nasty slimers, five six pounders. Poor boat is a slime pit. A couple pics for Billbob, holding em way out like he taught me
The pool noodlers were out in force, I hope they put a serious hurt on those catfish. Never had trouble with them in the past except tightlining minnows in dead of winter. Now, some days you can’t fish for em. Thought about going back to braid to be able to get rougher with them, but I don’t like how it plays with planer and drop weight clips. Oh well, maybe heavier mono.

Blackened catfish is hard to beat...one victim at a time. Good fishing, Man.
I just want to let you know that I saved the article you wrote on trolling crankbaits however many years ago to share with friends who need to develop their skill set. Many thanks, its helped me and several others bring up their game.
