    Default Downsizing

Tell me when you fellows downsize your jigs to a smaller 1/32 or 1/64, lately the only way I can catch any numbers of fish is by downsizing my baits, but the only bad thing about this is you catch lots of 5-8 inch fish with some lots bigger also. Just wondering when you fellows downsize your baits and what you downsize to, weight and style of jig.

I fish the little hand ties all year long in 1/32 and smaller, length is 1.5" or less. I catch a lot of smaller fish but the bigger ones show up enough to keep things interesting. Sometimes bass want to eat the little gills I hook and then it gets really interesting. I save the bigger baits for fishing rivers.

Summertime mostly with the tiny stuff and when I am only after bream , depending mostly on what water body I am on and of course the conditions when I hit it .
Here larger baits are ok in the summertime in the right locations, but I never run over 1/16 number 6 this time of year no matter where I visit ….
