sometimes the simple things are complicated ....
as in : do I hold my rod above the rail or under the rail while sitting here in a nice chair on the crappie dock , some things to think about you know ....
we hammered on the crappie a good while , a few bass in the mix , lost all the bass I hooked, off the dock though .
mind you this part , water clarity was good and they DID not want a colorful jig ...
a BG in a natural color was the ticket , go figure
Got kinda bored with the crappie after 100 or so and off we went ...
let all the crappie go , went down the road to a bream spot ....
whacked them till we got tired again and boxed up 30 or so for the ride home ....
man where the big bream looking good and pulling ....
    fun times ....
    KABOOM is the word btw
p.s. Thanks again to all that make these adventures so successful , that there ducktail jig was absolutely deadly on the bluegill as always
and the bream part of the adventure ,will be on the bream page , just saying
    Nice ketch!
I can honestly say I have never gotten board catching fish. There is just something addictive about that thump!!! It’s the same with bream, creek bass, and catfish. But I have run out of daylight. I have ran out of bait. That’s the reason I am a big time catch and release guy.
Now with FFS on those days of literary hundreds of fish caught, I love to observe the things they like and dislike. Their movement, the shut down for no reason and what sparks them starting back up. Awesome job!
