Spring is Like That

My home lake is one of the top bass lakes in the world. Today is Saturday and the only day many people can fish. It was a really nice day as far as sunshine but most of the hundreds of expensive bass boats were disappointed today. The fish were in a mood and it was not for chasing bait. My brother fished in a tournament and only caught two fish! I went out for an hour and a half, and He told me where He had seen crappie, so I went there and caught the male, and missed three over bites. I saw huge schools of fish, presumably crappie three times in 9ft of water moving so fast I couldn't stay with them; I only have the little cone straight down. Only had a little time, so I ran to where I got them on Thursday and it was really tough, so tough that I wished I had stayed out in the open water. Oh well, days are sure to follow.
