I've always used them for casting cranks (for Bass) and on the main lines of my 14' Pushing rods. I have pre-rigged leaders w/jig heads tied on one end & a loop knot on the other end of the leader, so I can switch out quickly if I ever break off or want to change baits.

I got some today in a shipment from BPS. Those gift cards I got for my birthday were burning a hole in my pocket. Those DuoLock Snaps are size 00 and are 20# test, 10 to a package. I use them on 1/8 oz. VMC Swimbait jigheads when I drift with Keitech Eazy Shiners. I find them stronger than a loop knot and they give the jighead more freedom of movement, which translates to more of a side to side rolling action, same for crankbaits.
