    At about .6 -.8 mph, (2) 1/16 jigs will run about 2/3 of the depth of line out behind the board. For example: with 15 ft of line out the jigs will run about 10 ft. Less line out = shallower running jigs. More out = deeper jigs. In my opinion... planer boards do not spook the fish. Crystal clear water may be the exception though.

    Use the Precision Trolling app to get an idea of how much line that you need for your given lure weight, speed, and line.
