Seen them bite my jig in MN tons of times and not really bite, they just like in the video inhale it but would spit it out even faster than that. I finally got to where I set the hook by site not feel.

Many times with light jigs or when they catch a falling jig coming up you may not feel much. With livescope it makes setting the hook easier, to see them go after a bait. a few times on livescope looks like they blow bubbles. I figure it is when they spit it right back out.
I’ve sight fished for them a few times when water was clear enough.
I’ve also had some strike at the surface and just below like a bass during the spawn.
Pretty cool since it’s rare.

I've seen several times at the pond I fish they'll come up and just mouth the lure and immediately spit it out, like they wanted to eat it but not really. Missed a couple good ones the other day like this, at least 10 inchers. This was in cold water. Someone on here said they set the hook when they see the gills flare
Seen crappie and Sunny’s, perch thousands of times, with under cameras ice fishing on the camera unit it self, or hdmi to flat screen tv’s in the bigger wheel houses.

I used my phone and videoed that in slow-mo, and even that is super fast inhale. Crazy
