Fish not near as picky as fishermen. Why toss something that will still catch fish? I used to use insert heads with tubes for decades in one color. Then to help a friend get his hand ties out there I used them. People said I was wrong color mattered. So I started making jigs out of trash. These trash jigs made out of shopping bags and thread outlast anything on the market at lowest cost. I super glue the layers of thread. Nothing to catch over 300 Crappie before one wears out.
