    I don’t use glue I just make my plastics out of hard plastisol since they’re being used exposed hook anyway & they last quite awhile this way.

    i wrap my jig hook shanks with dental floss ( I use ball head jigs with no collar ) , then apply superglue to the floss , then put the plastic on. I make up a couple of dozen at at time.
    One bait will last many trips , if you don't hang up an loose it. I buy the small tubes of superglue, I have found that you need store
    an opened tube vertically with the tip up. It will be fine when you need it again,
