Yep , but we wasn't after crappie anyway ....
we was after winter bream ....
daddy daughter day was cool .....
but she did ketch the best of the day ....
a real nice red ear ....
some small bass ,some ok bluegill and a 10"crappie and a solid red ear rounded out the trip .....
fish were all released and once again , something black was in the attack ....
I opted for a yellow plastic and a black handtie and she used a black and chart
KABOOM is near ....
p.s. the black jigs 3 foot under a float worked best that day on a wind swept flat in about 4 or 5 fow
....
