Weaned off pain meds after 6 weeks and PT is going good but grueling. Driving now and walking fine- if I don't spend too much time in Costco/Walmart! Sleeping without pain meds is difficult for more than a few hours at a time. Let's see who can get good enough to get back in the boat first Eric! Good luck and stay the course.

Well, OK. Off Pain meds at 4 weeks, Pt going well till shopping yesterday, as hip vertebra slipped out and can't move, sleep, nor get in a comfortable position sitting, standing nor layin. Sleep, Ha, What is that??? Tens unit getting a work out. only way I get any comfort right now. I have my Post operative appt. in the morning, then supposed to go to PT. Hangin tough though...doing home therapy. Had to run Ms Joyce out the room and close the door when I do as it isn't nice to be around me while I do... As far as getting in the boat, you'll probably win that, as It will be winter here before I can attempt it, I'm afraid, but we will see...Staying positive is the key to this success...

Even though I didn't want to, pain in lower back canceled all appt. for today. Both rescheduled.
